Function
Transcriptionally controlled transcription factor. Binds to DNA sites required for the transcription of alpha 1- antitrypsin, apolipoprotein CIII, transthyretin genes and HNF1- alpha. May be essential for development of the liver, kidney and intestine
Tissue Specificity
This HNF4A antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 125~154 amino acids surrounding S142 of human HNF4A.
Western blot analysis of anti-HNF4A Antibody (S142) in NCI-H460 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). HNF4A (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.
