Product Profile
Product Name 5-HT7 receptor antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit polyclonal to 5HT7 ReceptorThe neurotransmitter serotonin is thought to play a role in various cognitive and behavioral functions. 5HT7, a serotonin receptor, belongs to the superfamily of G protein-coupled receptors and the gene is a candidate locus for involvement in autistic disorder and other neuropsychiatric disorders. Three splice variants have been identified which encode proteins that differ in the length of their carboxy terminal ends.5HT7 Receptor has been reported in aorta, brain, heart, placenta, small intestine, spleen, artery, and vessel. An EST has been isolated from a testis library.
Immunogen Synthetic peptide: YGHLRSFLLPEVGRGL, corresponding to amino acids 13-28 of Rat 5HT7 Receptor.
