Product Profile
Product Name CXCL11 antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to CXCL11Chemokines are a group of small (approximately 8 to 14 kD), mostly basic, structurally related molecules that regulate cell trafficking of various types of leukocytes through interactions with a subset of 7-transmembrane, G protein-coupled receptors. Chemokines also play fundamental roles in the development, homeostasis, and function of the immune system, and they have effects on cells of the central nervous system as well as on endothelial cells involved in angiogenesis or angiostasis. Chemokines are divided into 2 major subfamilies, CXC and CC. This gene is a CXC member of the chemokine superfamily. Its encoded protein induces a chemotactic response in activated T-cells and is the dominant ligand for CXC receptor-3. The gene encoding this protein contains 4 exons and at least three polyadenylation signals which might reflect cell-specific regulation of expression. IFN-gamma is a potent inducer of transcription of this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Immunogen Recombinant Human I-TAC (CXCL11)
Key Feature
Clonality Polyclonal
Host Species Rabbit
Tested Applications ELISAIHC-PNeutWB
We recommend the following starting dilutions: For WB: Use at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 µg/ml. For ELISA: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/ml. For IHC-P: Use at a concentration of 0.125µg/mL- 0.25µg/mL. For Neutralization: one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hI-TAC (100 ng/ml), a concentration of 7.0-8.0 µg/ml of this antibody is required. Optimal dilutions should be determined experimentally by the end user.:

Application

Application

IHC-P analysis of human renal tumor with parenchyma tissue using CXCL11 antibody. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Optimal results for these conditions were achieved without antigen retrieval.

Application

Sandwich To detect hI-TAC by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μl/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μg/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody- which is biotinylated allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hI-TAC.
Application Notes We recommend the following starting dilutions: For WB: Use at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 µg/ml.
