Product Profile
Product Name CXCR7 antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to CXCR7This gene encodes a member of the G-protein coupled receptor family. Although this protein was earlier thought to be a receptor for vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), it is now considered to be an orphan receptor, in that its endogenous ligand has not been identified. The protein is also a coreceptor for human immunodeficiency viruses (HIV). Translocations involving this gene and HMGA2 on chromosome 12 have been observed in lipomas. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Immunogen KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the C-term region of human GPR159. The exact sequence is proprietary.

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of GPR159 expression in HEK293T (A); mouse kidney (B); rat kidney (C) whole cell lysates.

Application

Immunohistochemical analysis of GPR159 staining in human breast cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
