Product Profile
Product Name EDD antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to EDDThis gene encodes a progestin-induced protein, which belongs to the HECT (homology to E6-AP carboxyl terminus) family. The HECT family proteins function as E3 ubiquitin-protein ligases, targeting specific proteins for ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis. This gene is localized to chromosome 8q22 which is disrupted in a variety of cancers. This gene potentially has a role in regulation of cell proliferation or differentiation. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of UBR5 expression in Jurkat (A); HeLa (B); MDAMB468 (C); NIH3T3 (D) whole cell lysates.

Application

Immunohistochemical analysis of UBR5 staining in human breast cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
