Product Profile
Product Name Fibrinogen alpha antibody, N-term
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Fibrinogen alphaThe protein encoded by this gene is the alpha component of fibrinogen, a blood-borne glycoprotein comprised of three pairs of nonidentical polypeptide chains. Following vascular injury, fibrinogen is cleaved by thrombin to form fibrin which is the most abundant component of blood clots. In addition, various cleavage products of fibrinogen and fibrin regulate cell adhesion and spreading, display vasoconstrictor and chemotactic activities, and are mitogens for several cell types. Mutations in this gene lead to several disorders, including dysfibrinogenemia, hypofibrinogenemia, afibrinogenemia and renal amyloidosis. Alternative splicing results in two isoforms which vary in the carboxy-terminus. [provided by RefSeq]

Application

Application

FGA Antibody (N-term) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human breast carcinoma tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the FGA Antibody (N-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Application

Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of FGA Antibody (N-term) with HepG2 cell followed by Alexa Fluor搴?488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).

Application

Western blot analysis of FGA Antibody (N-term) in Jurkat cell line lysates (35ug/lane). FGA (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.
