Product Profile
Product Name JAK2 (phospho Tyr1007) antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to JAK2 (phospho Tyr1007)This gene product is a protein tyrosine kinase involved in a specific subset of cytokine receptor signaling pathways. It has been found to be constituitively associated with the prolactin receptor and is required for responses to gamma interferon. Mice that do not express an active protein for this gene exhibit embryonic lethality associated with the absence of definitive erythropoiesis. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Immunogen KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the C-term region of human JAK2. The exact sequence is proprietary.

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of JAK2 (pY1007) expression in HeLa (A); TF1 (B); NIH3T3 (C); rat kidney (D) whole cell lysates.

Application

Immunohistochemical analysis of JAK2 (pY1007) staining in human breast cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
Application Notes WB: 1:500 - 1:1000. IHC-P: 1:100 - 1:200:
