Product Profile
Product Name JLP / SPAG9 antibody, Internal
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit polyclonal to JLP (SPAG9) (Internal)Extracellular signals are transduced into cells through mitogen-activated protein kinases. The structural organization of these kinases into specific signaling domains is facilitated by scaffolding proteins involved in closely tethering different kinases so that successive phosphorylation events can occur. The protein encoded by this gene is a scaffolding protein that brings together mitogen-activated protein kinases and their transcription factor targets for the activation of specific signaling pathways. This gene which is abundantly expressed in testicular haploid germ cells encodes a protein that is recognized by sperm-agglutinating antibodies and implicated in infertility. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]
Immunogen The immunogen corresponding to a region within amino acids 603 and 632 of human SPAG9.

Application

Application

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human testis tissue reacted with SPAG9 antibody (Center) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Application

Western blot analysis of SPAG9 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal SPAG9 Antibody (Center) . 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the SPAG9 gene (Lane 2)
Application Notes Recommended Starting Dilutions: ForWB: Use at a dilution of 1:1000. For IHC-P: Use at a dilution of 1:10-50. Optimal dilutions should be determined experimentally by the researcher.:
