Western blot analysis on HeLa cell lysates using anti-Phospho-TIF1-beta (pS824) RabMAb (cat. #). Cells were either (A) untreated (B) treated with Gamma irradiation.
Rabbit monoclonal antibody [EPR5248] to TIF1-beta (phospho Ser824)TIF1-beta is a member of the tripartite motif family. This tripartite motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. TIF1-beta mediates transcriptional control by interacting with the Kruppel-associated box repression domain found in many transcription factors. This protein localizes to the nucleus and is thought to associate with specific chromatin regions (1).
Immunogen
A phospho specific peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Serine 824 of human TIF1-beta was used as an immunogen. This antibody only detects TIF1-beta phosphorylated at Serine 824.
