Product Profile
Product Name MIP1 alpha antibody, C-term
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit polyclonal antibody to MIP1 alphaThis locus represents a small inducible cytokine. The encoded protein, also known as macrophage inflammatory protein 1 alpha, plays a role in inflammatory responses through binding to the receptors CCR1, CCR4 and CCR5. Polymorphisms at this locus may be associated with both resistance and susceptibility to infection by human immunodeficiency virus type 1.
Immunogen KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 63~92 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CCL3.

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of CCL3 Antibody (C-term) in mouse liver tissue lysates (35ug/lane). CCL3 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human tonsil tissue reacted with CCL3 Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
