Product Profile
Product Name PAX1 antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to PAX1This gene is a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors. Members of the PAX family typically contain a paired box domain and a paired-type homeodomain. These genes play critical roles during fetal development. This gene plays a role in pattern formation during embryogenesis and may be essential for development of the vertebral column. This gene is silenced by methylation in ovarian and cervical cancers and may be a tumor suppressor gene. Mutations in this gene are also associated with vertebral malformations. Application

Application

Western blot analysis of PAX1 expression in HEK293T (A); NIH3T3 (B) whole cell lysates.

Application

Immunohistochemical analysis of PAX1 staining in human lymph node formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugad compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
