Rabbit polyclonal to PMP22PMP 22 is a 22 kDa glycoprotein expressed in the compact myolin of the peripheral nervous system. In the peripheral nervous system, PMP 22 is produced by myelinating Schwann cells and is coexpressed with the genes for myelin basic protein (MBP) during nerve development and regeneration. Alterations in the level of this protein cause several genetic human diseases. If the protein is duplicated, patients develop Charcot Marie Tooth disease. If one copy of the gene is deleted, they suffer from the inherited tendency to pressure palsies.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide (unfortunately, the amino acid sequence is considered to be commercially sensitive) (Human) (C terminal).

Tested Applications
IHC-P
IHC-P: Use at a dilution of 1/50 for 10 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM Citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.:
staining PMP22 in human pancreas by Immunohistochemistry (FFPE-sections).
Application
Human Pancreas stained with anti-Peripheral Myelin Protein (PMP-22) antibody
Positive Control
Pancreas
