ADAM9 is a member of the ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloprotease domain) family. Members of this family are membrane-anchored proteins structurally related to snake venom disintegrins, and have been implicated in a variety of biological processes involving cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions, including fertilization, muscle development, and neurogenesis. ADAM9 interacts with SH3 domain-containing proteins, binds mitotic arrest deficient 2 beta protein, and is also involved in TPA-induced ectodomain shedding of membrane-anchored heparin-binding EGF-like growth factor. This gene encodes a member of the ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloprotease domain) family. Two alternative splice variants have been identified, encoding distinct isoforms.1) Zigrino, P., (2007) J. Biol. Chem. 282 (42), 30785-30793.

Storage Instructions
For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚C. For longer periods of storage, store ADAM9 antibody at -20˚C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer
Antibody is lyophilized in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 μL of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/mL.
