The mammalian Kruppel-like transcription factor, KLF4 is involved in preventing centrosome amplification following DNA damage caused by gamma-irradiation. It is both necessary and sufficient in preventing centrosome amplification following gamma-radiation-induced DNA damage and does so by transcriptionally suppressing cyclin E expression n. Kruppel-like factor 4 is also known to exhibit checkpoint function during the G1/S and G2/M transitions of the cell cycle.1) Natesampillai, S., Am. J. Physiol. Endocrinol. Tested Applications
WB
KLF4 antibody can be used for detection of KLF4 by ELISA at 1:62500. KLF4 antibody can be used for detection of KLF4 by western blot at 1 μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Antibody used in WB on Human heart at 0.2-1 ug/ml.

Storage Instructions
For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚C. For longer periods of storage, store KLF4 antibody at -20˚C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer
Antibody is lyophilized in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 μL of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/mL.
