Product Profile
Product Name MAPK14 Antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description MAPK14 is a member of the MAP kinase family. MAP kinases act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals, and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. This kinase is activated by various environmental stresses and proinflammatory cytokines. The activation requires its phosphorylation by MAP kinase kinases (MKKs), or its autophosphorylation triggered by the interaction of MAP3K7IP1/TAB1 protein with this kinase. The substrates of this kinase include transcription regulator ATF2, MEF2C, and MAX, cell cycle regulator CDC25B, and tumor suppressor p53, which suggest the roles of this kinase in stress related transcription and cell cycle regulation, as well as in genotoxic stress response.1) Cheung, P.C., et al., EMBO J. 22(21):5793-5805 (2003). Application

Application

Western Blot at 1:2000 dilution Lane 1: Hela whole cell lysate Lane 2: HepG2 whole cell lysate Lane 3: PC-12 whole cell lysate Lysates/proteins at 20 ug per lane.

Application

Western blot analysis in Jurkat cell line and mouse kidney tissue lysates (35ug/lane).

Application

Western Blot at 1:2000 dilution Lane 1: HepG2 whole cell lysate Lane 2: Hela whole cell lysate Lane 3: PC-12 whole cell lysate Lane 4: Jurkat whole cell lysate Lane 5: MCF-7 whole cell lysate Lane 6: mouse kidney lysate Lysates/proteins at 20 ug per lane.

Application

Overlay histogram showing Hela cells stained with Antibody (green line). The cells were fixed with 2% paraformaldehyde (10 min) and then permeabilized with 90% methanol for 10 min. The cells were then icubated in 2% bovine serum albumin to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody (1:25 dilution) for 60 min at 37ºC. The secondary antibody used was Goat-Anti-Rabbit Ig
