Rho-related GTP-binding protein RhoF, Rho family GTPase Rif, Rho in filopodia, RHOF, ARHF, RIF
Product description
Plasma membrane-associated small GTPase which cycles between an active GTP-bound and an inactive GDP-bound state. Causes the formation of thin, actin-rich surface projections called filopodia. Functions cooperatively with CDC42 and Rac to generate additional structures, increasing the diversity of actin-based morphology.1) Fan, L., et al. J. Cell. Sci. 123 (PT 8), 1247-1252 (2010) :
Immunogen
This RHOF antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 178-206 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human RHOF.
Western blot analysis in A375 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).
