Snap25 contains 2 t-SNARE coiled-coil homology domains and belongs to the SNAP-25 family. t-SNARE involved in the molecular regulation of neurotransmitter release. Snap25 may play an important role in the synaptic function of specific neuronal systems. Snap25 associates with proteins involved in vesicle docking and membrane fusion.1) Nagy, G., et al., (2005) Mol. Biol. Cell 16 (12), 5675-5685.

Tested Applications
ELISAWB
SNAP25 antibody can be used for detection of SNAP25 by ELISA at 1:312500. SNAP25 antibody can be used for detection of SNAP25 by western blot at 1.0μ μg/mL, and HRP conjugated secondary antibody should be diluted 1:50,000 - 100,000.
Antibody used in WB on Human NT-2 and Mouse WT brain at 2 ug/ml (Lane 1. Human NT-2 cells (60ug) lysate Lane 2. Mouse WT brain extract (80ug)).
Application
Antibody used in WB on Human Frontal Cortex at 0.2-1 ug/ml.
Positive Control

Storage Instructions
For short periods of storage (days) store at 4˚C. For longer periods of storage, store SNAP25 antibody at -20˚C. As with any antibody avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer
Antibody is lyophilized in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. Add 50 μL of distilled water. Final antibody concentration is 1 mg/mL.
