Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Human human breast cancer tissues using CDK1 antibody with DAB staining. with heat-mediated antigen retrieval using sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) (OM750020) for 2 minutes. Wash the sections with ddH₂O and PBS (OM750003). Block the tissue with 10% non-immune goat serum(OM760028) at room temperature . Incubate the tissue with the primary antibody diluted at a ratio of 1:1000 at 4°C overnight. At room temperature, dilute the secondary antibody, Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H&L)-HRP (OM643487), at a ratio of 1:200 and incubate for one hour. | Gene Summary | The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family. This protein is a catalytic subunit of the highly conserved protein kinase complex known as M-phase promoting factor (MPF), which is essential for G1/S and G2/M phase transitions of eukaryotic cell cycle. Mitotic cyclins stably associate with this protein and function as regulatory subunits. The kinase activity of this protein is controlled by cyclin accumulation and destruction through the cell cycle. The phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of this protein also play important regulatory roles in cell cycle control.
