Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description

Immunogen Synthetic phospho-peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Ser660 of Human HSL.
Modification P-S660
Key Feature
Clonality monoclonal
Isotype IgG
Host Species Rabbit
Tested Applications WB
WB:1:2000
Species Reactivity MouseRat
Concentration 1mg/ml
Purification Protein A
Target Information
Gene Symbol LIPE
Gene Synonyms HSL
LHS
REH
AOMS4
FPLD6
Gene Full Name lipase E, hormone sensitive type
Gene Summary The protein encoded by this gene has a long and a short form, generated by use of alternative translational start codons. The long form is expressed in steroidogenic tissues such as testis, where it converts cholesteryl esters to free cholesterol for steroid hormone production. The short form is expressed in adipose tissue, among others, where it hydrolyzes stored triglycerides to free fatty acids. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Molecular Weight(MW) 117kDa(Observed band size:84kDa)
Cellular Localization Cell membrane, Membrane, caveola, Cytoplasm, cytosol, Lipid droplet.
Application

WB

Western blot analysis of Phospho-Hormone sensitive lipase (S660) on different lysates with Rabbit anti-Phospho-Hormone sensitive lipase (S660) antibody at 1/2000 dilution. Lane 1: Mouse white adipose tissue lysate, Lane 2: Rat white adipose tissue lysate, Lane 3: Mouse white adipose tissue lysate, the membrane treated with λpp for 1 hour, Lysates/proteins at 40 µg/Lane. Exposure time: 59 seconds; 4-20% SDS-PAGE gel. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody at 1/2000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4℃ overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1/50000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
Application Notes WB:1:2000
