Function
Multiubiquitin chain receptor involved in modulation of proteasomal degradation. Binds to 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitin chains in a length-dependent manner and with a lower affinity to 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains. Proposed to be capable to bind simultaneously to the 26S proteasome and to polyubiquitinated substrates and to deliver ubiquitinated proteins to the proteasome Involved in vpr-dependent replication of HIV-1 in non- proliferating cells and primary macrophages. Required for the association of HIV-1 vpr with the host proteasome
Tissue Specificity
This RAD23A antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 17~46 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human RAD23A.
The anti-RAD23A Pab is used in Western blot to detect RAD23A in mouse cerebellum tissue lysate.

Storage Instructions
For short-term storage, store at 4° C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20ºC or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer
Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
