Function Subunit of clathrin-associated adaptor protein complex 1 that plays a role in protein sorting in the late-Golgi/trans-Golgi network (TGN) and/or endosomes. The AP complexes mediate both the recruitment of clathrin to membranes and the recognition of sorting signals within the cytosolic tails of transmembrane cargo molecules
Tissue Specificity Widely expressed.
Cellular Localization Golgi apparatus. Cytoplasmic vesicle membrane; Peripheral membrane protein; Cytoplasmic side. Membrane, clathrin-coated pit. Note=Component of the coat surrounding the cytoplasmic face of coated vesicles located at the Golgi complex

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of AP1S1 Antibody (N-Term) in MDA-MB231 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).AP1S1 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

AP1S1 Antibody (N-Term) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human skeletal muscle followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the AP1S1 Antibody (N-Term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Application

AP1S1 Antibody (N-Term) flow cytometric analysis of MDA-MB231 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
Application Notes WB:1:100~500 IHC
