2-oxoisovalerate dehydrogenase subunit alpha
mitochondrial
Branched-chain alpha-keto acid dehydrogenase E1 component alpha chain
Molecular Weight(MW) 50471 Da
Function The branched-chain alpha-keto dehydrogenase complex catalyzes the overall conversion of alpha-keto acids to acyl-CoA and CO(2). It contains multiple copies of three enzymatic components: branched-chain alpha-keto acid decarboxylase (E1), lipoamide acyltransferase (E2) and lipoamide dehydrogenase (E3)
Tissue Specificity This BCKDHA antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 369~398 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human BCKDHA.
Cellular Localization Mitochondrion matrix.

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of BCKDHA Antibody (C-term) in Jurkat cell line lysates (35ug/lane). BCKDHA (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human lung carcinoma reacted with BCKDHA Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Application

BCKDHA Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of Jurkat cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
Application Notes WB:1:50~100 IHC
