Function Responsible for the manifestation of peripheral-type benzodiazepine recognition sites and is most likely to comprise binding domains for benzodiazepines and isoquinoline carboxamides May play a role in the transport of porphyrins and heme. Plays a role in the transport of cholesterol across mitochondrial membranes in steroidogenic cells (By similarity)
Tissue Specificity Found in many tissue types. Expressed at the highest levels under normal conditions in tissues that synthesize steroids
Cellular Localization Mitochondrion membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of BZRP Antibody (C-term) in A375 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). BZRP (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue reacted with BZRP Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Application

BZRP Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of A375 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
Application Notes WB:1:50~100 IHC
