Function Component of the CCM signaling pathway which is a crucial regulator of heart and vessel formation and integrity. May act through the stabilization of endothelial cell junctions (By similarity). May function as a scaffold protein for MAP2K3-MAP3K3 signaling. Seems to play a major role in the modulation of MAP3K3- dependent p38 activation induced by hyperosmotic shock (By similarity)
Tissue Specificity This CCM2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 20~49 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CCM2.
Cellular Localization Cytoplasm (By similarity).

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of CCM2 Antibody (N-term) in HL-60 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). CCM2 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue reacted with CCM2 Antibody (N-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
Application Notes WB:1:50~100 IHC
