Function T-cell surface glycoprotein CD1e, soluble is required for the presentation of glycolipid antigens on the cell surface The membrane-associated form is not active
Tissue Specificity Expressed on cortical thymocytes, dendritic cells, Langerhans cells, on certain T-cell leukemias, and in various other tissues
Cellular Localization T-cell surface glycoprotein CD1e, membrane- associated: Golgi apparatus membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. Early endosome. Late endosome. Note=Predominantly localized in the trans-Golgi network in immature dendritic cells, and as a cleaved, soluble protein in the lysosome lumen of mature dendritic cells

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of CD1E Antibody (C-term) in K562 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). CD1E (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

CD1E Antibody (C-term) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded tonsil tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the CD1E Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Application

CD1E Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of K562 cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
Application Notes WB:1:100~500 IHC
