Target Information
Alternative Names DOK2
Docking protein 2
Downstream of tyrosine kinase 2
p56(dok-2)
Molecular Weight(MW) 45379 Da
Function DOK proteins are enzymatically inert adaptor or scaffolding proteins. They provide a docking platform for the assembly of multimolecular signaling complexes. DOK2 may modulate the cellular proliferation induced by IL-4, as well as IL-2 and IL-3. May be involved in modulating Bcr-Abl signaling. Attenuates EGF-stimulated MAP kinase activation (By similarity)
Tissue Specificity Highly expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes, lymph nodes and spleen. Lower expression in thymus, bone marrow and fetal liver

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of anti-DOK2 Pab in mouse spleen tissue line lysate (35ug/lane). DOK2(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

Western blot analysis of DOK2 (arrow) using DOK2 Antibody (N-term) . 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the DOK2 gene (Lane 2) (Origene Technologies).

Application

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.
Application Notes WB:1:100~500 IHC
