Alternative Names ETFB
Electron transfer flavoprotein subunit beta
Molecular Weight(MW) 27844 Da
Function The electron transfer flavoprotein serves as a specific electron acceptor for several dehydrogenases, including five acyl- CoA dehydrogenases, glutaryl-CoA and sarcosine dehydrogenase. It transfers the electrons to the main mitochondrial respiratory chain via ETF-ubiquinone oxidoreductase (ETF dehydrogenase)
Tissue Specificity Abundant in liver, heart and skeletal muscle. A weak expression is seen in the brain, placenta, lung, kidney and pancreas
Cellular Localization Mitochondrion matrix.

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of ETFB Antibody (N-term) in Hela, NCI-H460, HepG2 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). ETFB (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human skeletal muscle reacted with ETFB Antibody (N-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Application

ETFB Antibody (N-term) flow cytometry analysis of Hela cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
Application Notes WB:1:100~500 IHC
