Gene Synonyms F13A
Alternative Names F13A1
F13A
Coagulation factor XIII A chain
Protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase A chain
Transglutaminase A chain
Molecular Weight(MW) 83267 Da
Function Factor XIII is activated by thrombin and calcium ion to a transglutaminase that catalyzes the formation of gamma-glutamyl- epsilon-lysine cross-links between fibrin chains, thus stabilizing the fibrin clot. Also cross-link alpha-2-plasmin inhibitor, or fibronectin, to the alpha chains of fibrin
Tissue Specificity This Factor XIIIa antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 554~584 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human Factor XIIIa.
Cellular Localization Cytoplasm. Secreted. Note=Secreted into the blood plasma. Cytoplasmic in most tissues, but also secreted in the blood plasma

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of Factor XIIIa Antibody (C-term) in K562 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). Factor XIIIa (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

Western blot analysis of F13A1 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal Factor XIIIa Antibody (C-term) . 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the F13A1 gene (Lane 2).

Application

Factor XIIIa Antibody (C-term) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded mouse brain tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the Factor XIIIa Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Application

Factor XIIIa Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of K562 cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
Application Notes WB:1:50~100 IHC
