Function Cleaves the alpha-chain at multiple sites and the beta- chain between 'Lys-53' and 'Lys-54' but not the gamma-chain of fibrinogen and therefore does not initiate the formation of the fibrin clot and does not cause the fibrinolysis directly. It does not cleave (activate) prothrombin and plasminogen but converts the inactive single chain urinary plasminogen activator (pro- urokinase) to the active two chain form. Activates coagulation factor VII
Tissue Specificity Ubiquitously expressed.
Cellular Localization Secreted. Note=Secreted as an inactive single-chain precursor and is then activated to a heterodimeric form

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of HABP2 Antibody (C-term) in mouse liver tissue lysates (35ug/lane). HABP2 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

HABP2 Antibody (C-term) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human hepatocarcinoma followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the HABP2 Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
Application Notes WB:1:50~100 IHC
