LIPT2 Antibody (N-term) western blot analysis in MCF-7 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the LIPT2 antibody detected the LIPT2 protein (arrow).
Catalyzes the transfer of endogenously produced octanoic acid from octanoyl-acyl-carrier-protein onto the lipoyl domains of lipoate-dependent enzymes. Lipoyl-ACP can also act as a substrate although octanoyl-ACP is likely to be the physiological substrate (By similarity)
Tissue Specificity
This LIPT2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 12-43 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human LIPT2.
