Alternative Names
Lmx1a LIM homeobox transcription factor 1-alpha LIM/homeobox protein 1.1 LIM/homeobox protein LMX1A
Molecular Weight(MW)

Function
Acts as a transcriptional activator by binding to an A/T-rich sequence, the FLAT element, in the insulin gene promoter Required for development of the roof plate and, in turn, for specification of dorsal cell fates in the CNS and developing vertebrae
Tissue Specificity
This Lmx1a antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide selected from the Center region of mouse LMX1a.
Western blot analysis of anti-Lmx1a Pab in HL60 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). Lmx1a(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab (1:60 dilution).

Storage Instructions
For short-term storage, store at 4° C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20ºC or below. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage Buffer
Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
