Product Profile
Product Name AGO1 antibody, N-term
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit polyclonal to AGO1 (N-term)This gene encodes a member of the Argonaute family of proteins which play a role in RNA interference. The encoded protein is highly basic, and contains a PAZ domain and a PIWI domain. It may interact with dicer1 and play a role in short-interfering-RNA-mediated gene silencing. This gene is located on chromosome 1 in a cluster of closely related family members including argonaute 3, and argonaute 4. [provided by RefSeq]
Immunogen KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 34~64 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human AGO1.

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of AGO1 Antibody (N-term) in K562 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). AGO1 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

AGO1 Antibody (N-term) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human brain tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the AGO1 Antibody (N-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
Application Notes ELISA: Use at 1:1,000
