Product Profile
Product Name APOL1-BH3 Domain antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit polyclonal to APOL1-BH3 DomainThis gene encodes a secreted high density lipoprotein which binds to apolipoprotein A-I. Apolipoprotein A-I is a relatively abundant plasma protein and is the major apoprotein of HDL. It is involved in the formation of most cholesteryl esters in plasma and also promotes efflux of cholesterol from cells. This apolipoprotein L family member may play a role in lipid exchange and transport throughout the body, as well as in reverse cholesterol transport from peripheral cells to the liver. Several different transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]
Immunogen KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 147~176 amino acids from the BH3 Domain region of human APOL1.

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of APOL1 Antibody in MDA-MB468 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). APOL1(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

APOL1 Antibody FC analysis of MCF-7 cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.

Application

APOL1 Antibody IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human breast carcinoma followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the APOL1 Antibody for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
Application Notes ELISA: Use at 1:1,000
