Product Profile
Product Name Apolipoprotein D antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to Apo D (apolipoprotein D)This gene encodes a component of high density lipoprotein that has no marked similarity to other apolipoprotein sequences. It has a high degree of homology to plasma retinol-binding protein and other members of the alpha 2 microglobulin protein superfamily of carrier proteins, also known as lipocalins. This glycoprotein is closely associated with the enzyme lecithin:cholesterol acyltransferase - an enzyme involved in lipoprotein metabolism. [provided by RefSeq]
Immunogen Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human Apolipoprotein D. The exact sequence is proprietary.

Application

Application

Apolipoprotein D antibody detects Apolipoprotein D protein at cytoplasm in rat liver by immunohistochemical analysis. Sample: Paraffin-embedded rat liver. Apolipoprotein D antibody diluted at 1:500.

Application

Apolipoprotein D antibody detects Apolipoprotein D protein by western blot analysis. Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 12% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Apolipoprotein D antibody diluted at 1:1000.

Application

Apolipoprotein D antibody detects Apolipoprotein D protein at cytoplasm and nucleus by immunofluorescent analysis. Sample: A431 cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min. Green: Apolipoprotein D protein stained by Apolipoprotein D antibody diluted at 1:500. Blue: Hoechst 33342 staining.
Positive Control 293T , A431 , HeLa , HepG2
