Monoclonal Mouse Antibody to bcl - X ( Apoptosis Marker )This antibody recognizes a 27 kD protein identified as bcl-X protein. This antibody is highly specific to bcl-X and does not show cross reactivity with bcl-2 alpha or bax protein. This antibody cross reacts with human, mouse, rat and pig.
Immunogen
BALB/C mice were injected with a synthetic peptide of amino acid 3-14 (Cys-QSNRELVVDFLS) of human bcl-X protein.

Tested Applications
IHC-PWB
This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:50 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Can also be used for: Immunoprecipitation (1:50), Western Blotting (1:50 to 1:100):
WB analysis of human lung cell extract using Bcl-X antibody [2H12].
Positive Control
Hodgkin’s lymphoma
