Product Profile
Product Name beta Galactosidase antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit polyclonal to beta GalactosidaseBeta galactosidase is coded by a gene (lac z) in the lac operon of Escherichia coli. It is a metalloenzyme that splits lactose into glucose and galactose. It hydrolyzes terminal, non-reducing beta-D-galactose residues in beta-D-galactosides.Activation by cations seems to be substrate dependent. K+, Na+, NH4+, Rb+, Cs+ and Mn++ all activate enzyme activity based upon the substrate used.
Immunogen Beta-Galactosidase (E.coli)

Application

Application

WB ImageWB analysis of beta Galactosidase protein (lanes1-3 for 60 ng, 30 ng and 15 ng, respectively) and non-specific control E.coli lysate (lane 4) using beta Galactosidase antibody.

Application

WB ImageWB analysis of beta Galactosidase protein (1 μg) using beta Galactosidase antibody at a dilution of 1:1,000.

Application

WB ImageWB analysis of non-reduced and reduced beta Galactosidase protein (lane1 for 80 ng and lane 2 for 20 ng) using beta Galactosidase antibody at a dilution of 1:10,000.
Application Notes For ELISA: Use at a dilution of 1:4,000 - 1:16,000. For WB: Use at a dilution of 1:5000 - 1:10000. For IHC-Fr and IHC-P: Use at a dilution of 1:500 - 1:3,000. For all other applications: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher.
