Rabbit polyclonal to BLNK ( phospho Y84 )The B cell linker protein BLNK (also referred to as B cell adaptor containing Src homology 2 domain - BASH - or, SLP-65), is crucial for B cell antigen receptor (BCR)-mediated activation, proliferation, and differentiation of B cells. BLNK represents a central linker protein that bridges the BCR-associated kinases with a multitude of signaling pathways and may regulate the biological responses of B cell function and development. Tyrosine phosphorylation of BLNK by Syk provides docking sites for SH2-containing effector molecules such as PLC alpha, Btk, Vav, Grb2 and Nck, and contributes to the activation of the IKK complex and the resulting NF-kappaB signaling pathway.
Immunogen
Synthetic phospho peptide (Human) derived from a region of BLNK that contains tyrosine 84. The sequence is conserved in mouse.

Tested Applications
IHC-PWB
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.1 - 1 μg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 70 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 54.7 kDa). Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded human brain tissue using BLNK (Phospho-Tyr84) antibody
Application
Western blot analysis of extracts from K562 cells, treated and starved (24 hrs), using BLNK (Phospho-Tyr84) antibody
