Product Profile
Product Name CD14 antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Mouse monoclonal [MEM - 18] to CD14CD14 is a single-copy gene encoding 2 protein forms: a 50- to 55-kD glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored membrane protein (mCD14) and a monocyte or liver-derived soluble serum protein (sCD14) that lacks the anchor. Both molecules are critical for lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-dependent signal transduction, and sCD14 confers LPS sensitivity to cells lacking mCD14. Increased sCD14 levels are associated with inflammatory infectious diseases and high mortality in gram-negative shock.
Immunogen A crude mixture of human urinary proteins precipitated by ammonium sulphate from the urine of a patient suffering from proteinuria.
Key Feature
Clonality Monoclonal

Application

Application

Staining of human peripheral blood monocytes with Mouse anti Human CD14:FITC

Application

Western Blot analysis (non-reducing conditions) of over-expressed human CD14 using anti-CD14 (MEM-18) . Lane 1: whole cell lysate HEK 293 transfected with empty vector Lane 2: tissue culture supernatant collected after cultivation of HEK 293 transfected with human CD14 cDNA Lane 3: whole cell lysate of HEK 293 transfected with human CD14 cDNA

Application

Staining of human peripheral blood monocytes with Mouse anti Human CD14:RPE

Application

Surface staining of human peripheral blood leukocytes using anti-human CD14 (clone MEM-18) FITC .
