Product Profile
Product Name COTL1 antibody, C-term
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit polyclonal to COTL1 (C-term)This gene encodes one of the numerous actin-binding proteins which regulate the actin cytoskeleton. This protein binds F-actin, and also interacts with 5-lipoxygenase, which is the first committed enzyme in leukotriene biosynthesis. Although this gene has been reported to map to chromosome 17 in the Smith-Magenis syndrome region, the best alignments for this gene are to chromosome 16. The Smith-Magenis syndrome region is the site of two related pseudogenes. [provided by RefSeq]
Immunogen KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 113~142 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human COTL1.

Application

Application

COTL1 Antibody (C-term) flow cytometry analysis of Hela cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.

Application

Western blot analysis of COTL1 Antibody (C-term) in Hela cell line lysates (35ug/lane). COTL1 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Application

Western blot analysis of COTL1 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal COTL1 Antibody (C-term) . 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the COTL1 gene.

Application

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human spleen tissue reacted with COTL1 Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
Application Notes ELISA: Use at 1:1,000
