Mouse monoclonal [V152] to Cyclin B1In mammals, cyclin B associates with inactive p34cdc2. Cyclin B-p34cdc2 plays a critical role in G2 to M transition.
Immunogen
Tagged hamster Cyclin B1 expressed in bacteria, harvested from inclusion bodies, extracted with 6M guanidine HCl and purified by affinity chromatograaphy.
Key Feature
Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
IgG1
Clone Number
V152
Host Species
Mouse
Tested Applications
AFFACSICC/IFIHCIHC-FIHC-PIPWB
Very good at detecting cyclin B1 in formalin-fixed tissues. Flow cytometry / FACS: assay dependent. Western Blotting: use at a concentration of 1 - 2μg/ml for 2hrs at RT. Immunohistochemistry: use at a concentration of 1 - 2μg/ml for 30 min at RT. Immunofluorescence : 2 micrograms/ml in PBS/ 1% BSA and incubation was overnignt at 4°C. Optimal dilutions / concentrations should be determined by the end user. By Western blot, this antibody detects a band of 62 kDa, which corresponds to the predicted molecular weight of Cyclin B1. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user:
Species Reactivity
HumanMouseHamster
Concentration
1mg/ml (Please refer to the vial label for the specific concentration)
This antibody is specific to a protein of 62 kD identified as cyclin B1. Cyclin B1 expression is restricted to a specific short period of the cell cycle with cyclin B1 expression detected earlier and peaking in concentration before cyclin B2 expression.
Cellular Localization
Nuclear
