Product Profile
Product Name fast skeletal Myosin antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Mouse monoclonal [MY-32] to fast skeletal MyosinMyosin is a 480 kD protein that interacts with actin in muscle and non muscle cells (8). Conventional myosin contains two identical heavy chains (MHC - 200kD each) and four light chains (MLC-15-26 kD). Conventional myosin molecules consist of two major regions: tail (rod) and globular heads; they aggregate into filaments through the tail region and interact with actin and with adenosine triphosphate (ATP) through the head region. Multiple forms of myosin heavy chains exist in skeletal, smooth and cardiac muscle and in non- muscle tissues. A spectrum of skeletal muscle fiber types is found in adult skeletal muscles. The two major skeletal muscle fiber types are type I (slow- twitch) and type II (fast-twitch). Skeletal muscle type II fibers can be further subdivided into types IIa (fast red) and IIb (fast white).

Application

Application

Staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human skeletal muscle sections with Mouse Anti-Myosin (Skeletal, Fast) Clone: MY-32 (Cat. No. ) diluted 1:400 using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG, FITC-conjugate.

Application

Cell and tissue lysates were separated on SDS-PAGE and probed with Mouse Anti-Myosin (Skeletal, Fast) Clone: MY-32 (Cat. No.) diluted to 1:750. The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG-Peroxidase and a chemiluminescent substrate. Lanes 1. H9C2; 2. A10; 3. C2C12; 4. Mouse Skeletal Muscle; 5. Rat Skeletal Muscle
Application Notes Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin/Frozen) 1:50-1:100, Western Blot 1:100-1:500., Indirect IF 1:50-1:100.:
