Product Profile
Product Name Fumarate hydratase antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Mouse Monoclonal antibody [GT7612] to Fumarate hydratase (fumarate hydratase)The protein encoded by this gene is an enzymatic component of the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, or Krebs cycle, and catalyzes the formation of L-malate from fumarate. It exists in both a cytosolic form and an N-terminal extended form, differing only in the translation start site used. The N-terminal extended form is targeted to the mitochondrion, where the removal of the extension generates the same form as in the cytoplasm. It is similar to some thermostable class II fumarases and functions as a homotetramer. Mutations in this gene can cause fumarase deficiency and lead to progressive encephalopathy. Application

Application

Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (30 µg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with Fumarate hydratase antibody [GT7612] diluted at 1:500.

Application

Fumarate hydratase antibody [GT7612] detects Fumarate hydratase protein at mitochondria by immunofluorescent analysis. Sample: HeLa cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 5 min. Green: Fumarate hydratase protein stained by Fumarate hydratase antibody [GT7612] diluted at 1:500. Blue: Hoechst 33342 staining.

Application

Fumarate hydratase antibody [GT7612] detects Fumarate hydratase protein by Western blot analysis. A. 30 µg 293T B. 30 µg A431 C. 30 µg HeLa D. 30 µg HepG2 10 % SDS-PAGE Fumarate hydratase antibody [GT7612] dilution: 1:500
