Product Profile
Product Name IFNAR1 (phospho Ser535/Ser539) antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Interferon-a Receptor, Type I, Subunit I (phospho Ser535,539)Associates with IFNAR2 to form the type I interferon receptor. Receptor for interferons alpha and beta. Binding to type I IFNs triggers tyrosine phosphorylation of a number of proteins including JAKs, TYK2, STAT proteins and IFNR alpha- and beta-subunits themselves.
Immunogen Synthetic phospho-peptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding Ser535/539 conjugated to KLH
Modification p-Ser535/Ser539

Application

Application

Western blot of immunoprecipitates from HEK 293 cells transfected with 1. Mock 2. IFNAR1 WT and 3. IFNAR1 Ser 535 Arg and Ser 539 Arg mutants. The immunolabeling is absent in the IFNAR1 Ser 535 and Ser 539 mutants. The labeling is blocked by the phosphopeptide (Phos) used as the antigen but not by the dephosphopeptide (Dephos).
Application Notes Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the end user.
