Product Profile
Product Name IL1 beta antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to IL1 betaInterleukin 1 (IL1), originally known as lymphocyte activating factor (LAF), activates T cells and lymphocytes, which then proliferate and secrete interleukin 2. IL1 is primarily released from stimulated macrophages and monocytes, but also is released from several other cell types, and is thought to play a key role in inflammatory and immune responses. The two closely related agents, interleukin1 alpha (IL1 alpha) and interleukin1 beta (IL1 beta) bind to the same cell surface receptor, elicit nearly identical biological responses and share 25% homology in their amino acid sequence.
Immunogen This antibody was prepared by repeated immunizations with recombinant human IL-1s produced in E.coli.? The MW of the recombinant 153 aa IL-1s was 17 kDa with the N-terminal amino acid at position alanine 117.? This cleavage site is generated by the IL-1s

Application

IHC-P analysis of medullary lymph node using IL1 beta antibody. Positive staining in the cytoplasm of circulating macrophages. Negative Control (far right) normal rabbit IgG.

Application

was used at a 1:200 dilution incubated 1 h at room temperature to detect dog IL-1beta by Western blot. Lane 1 and 2 were loaded with 2.5 µg and 500 ng of dog IL-1beta respectively.
