Rabbit polyclonal to MAGE 1The MAGE1 gene is a member of the melanoma antigen-encoding gene family. These genes encode for HLA-restricted tumor-associated rejection antigens recognized by cytotoxic T lymphocytes. Some of these target antigens may be potentially useful for cancer-specific immunotherapy. The expression of MAGE genes has been reported not only in melanoma but also in various other malignant tumors such as hepatocellular carcinoma and germ cell tumors.

Tested Applications
ELISAICC/IFIHC-FIPWB
ELISA: Use at a concentration of 0.1 - 1 μg/ml. IHC-F: 1/100 for 10 min. Note: prior staining, formalin-fixed tissues need to be boiled in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 min, followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. IP: Use 3 - 5μg for extract from 10^7 cells. WB: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 2 μg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 34 kDa. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
