Rabbit polyclonal to MOP3 / BMAL1MOP3 (BMAL1), a general dimerization partner for a subset of the bHLH-PAS (basic-helix-loop-helix-PER-ARNT-SIM) superfamily of transcription regulators, is involved in circadian rhythm generation. MOP3 interacts with MOP4, CLOCK, hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha and -2 alpha. This interaction appears to be distinct from that of the more characterized general partner, ARNT (HIF-1Beta).

Tested Applications
WB
WB: Use at a dilution of 1/100 - 1/200. May be used in Western analysis where it recognizes a band at ~73 kDa representing MOP3. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Western Blot: BMAL1 Antibody - Detection of BMAL in 3T3/L1 lysates.
Positive Control
5 ul of reticulocyte lysate translated hMOP3 protein incubated for 2 hours at RT. Sensitivity may be increased by incubating overnight at 4 degrees C.
