Product Profile
Product Name NFYC antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to NFYCThis gene encodes one subunit of a trimeric complex forming a highly conserved transcription factor that binds with high specificity to CCAAT motifs in the promoters of a variety of genes. The encoded protein, subunit C, forms a tight dimer with the B subunit, a prerequisite for subunit A association. The resulting trimer binds to DNA with high specificity and affinity. Subunits B and C each contain a histone-like motif. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2008]
Immunogen KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N-term region of human NFYC. The exact sequence is proprietary.

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of NFYC expression in K562 (A); NIH3T3 (B); HeLa (C); Jurkat (D) whole cell lysates.

Application

Immunohistochemical analysis of NFYC staining in human brain formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
