Mouse monoclonal antibody to human replication factor C ( RFC ) p37Human Replication Factor C (RFC) is a hetero-pentameric protein consisting of the p140, p40, p38, p37 and p36 subunits. RFC functions in the loading of the DNA polymerase delta processivity factor (PCNA, Proliferating Cell nuclear Antigen) onto a primed DNA template during DNA synthesis and repair. RFC may also participate in the DNA damage checkpoint response with a PCNA-like hetero-trimer consisting of Hus 1, Rad 1 and Rad 9.
