Product Profile
Product Name PARP antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Mouse Monoclonal antibody [GT982] to PARP1 (poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase 1)This gene encodes a chromatin-associated enzyme, poly(ADP-ribosyl)transferase, which modifies various nuclear proteins by poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation. The modification is dependent on DNA and is involved in the regulation of various important cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, and tumor transformation and also in the regulation of the molecular events involved in the recovery of cell from DNA damage. In addition, this enzyme may be the site of mutation in Fanconi anemia, and may participate in the pathophysiology of type I diabetes. [provided by RefSeq]
Immunogen Recombinant protein encompassing a sequence within the center region of human PARP1. The exact sequence is proprietary.

Application

Application

Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (30 µg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with PARP antibody [GT982] diluted at 1:1000.

Application

PARP1 antibody [GT982] detects PARP1 protein at nucleus by immunofluorescent analysis. Sample: HeLa cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min. Green: PARP1 protein stained by PARP1 antibody [GT982] diluted at 1:400. Red: Phalloidin, a F-actin marker, diluted at 1:200.

Application

Immunoprecipitation of PARP protein from 293T whole cell extracts using 5 μg of PARP antibody . Western blot analysis was performed using PARP antibody . EasyBlot anti-Mouse IgG was used as a secondary reagent.

Application

PARP1 antibody detects PARP1 protein by western blot analysis. Un-treated (-) and treated (+, 30uM cisplatin treatment for 24hr) HeLa whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with PARP1 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000.
Positive Control 293T , HeLa , HeLa (30uM cisplatin treatment for 24hr)
