Product Profile
Product Name PRIM1 antibody
Antibody Type Primary Antibodies
Product description Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to PRIM1The replication of DNA in eukaryotic cells is carried out by a complex chromosomal replication apparatus, in which DNA polymerase alpha and primase are two key enzymatic components. Primase, which is a heterodimer of a small subunit and a large subunit, synthesizes small RNA primers for the Okazaki fragments made during discontinuous DNA replication. The protein encoded by this gene is the small, 49 kDa primase subunit. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Immunogen KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the C-term region of human PRIM1. The exact sequence is proprietary.

Application

Application

Western blot analysis of PRIM1 expression in HeLa (A); Raw264.7 (B) whole cell lysates.

Application

Immunohistochemical analysis of PRIM1 staining in human breast cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
